Streaming equipment
Give your coaxial cables a second life with the MuxLab 500465 kit. It converts an HDMI signal to SDI over 152 metres, using simple RG6 cable. A perfect model for integrating modern broadcast equipment into an existing infrastructure. Three SDI outputs enable cascade distribution.

Presentation
The MuxLab 500465 kit is the ultimate translator between the HDMI world of your modern sources and the robust world of broadcast SDI video. It takes your HDMI signal and converts it into a professional SDI stream, capable of travelling over 150 metres on standard RG59 or RG6 cable.
Why is that clever? Because coax is a workhorse. It's resistant to noisy electrical environments, extreme lengths, and connects with screwed BNCs, which are much safer than an HDMI cable that suddenly disconnects. You can now feed a control screen in the control room from a Blu-ray player in the theatre, without rewiring the whole thing.
The receiver module doesn't just restore the signal. It multiplies it. With three independent SDI outputs, you can distribute your source to several screens, or to another transmitter to extend the chain even further. The cascade of kits extends the range virtually to infinity.
It's the tool of the pragmatic integrator. Imagine broadcasting the video of a concert from a consumer HDMI camera to the SDI monitors in the technical control room, over distances that would be impossible for native HDMI. Think of using a building's coaxial infrastructure to create a full HD video broadcast network. The modules are robust, and their power supplies are included. You don't throw anything away, you modernise. A solution that's as economical as it is ingenious!
