The MuxLab 500773 TX can be integrated directly into a wall to provide an HDMI or VGA connection to an AV over IP network. It centralises local sources and simplifies their distribution to one or more remote screens. This model, 500773 TX, makes it easy to connect a laptop, a modern HDMI source or older VGA equipment, without the need for an external adapter. The choice of source is made automatically or manually via a button on the front panel, with visual indication thanks to the integrated LEDs. This approach simplifies day-to-day use, particularly in environments where several people are involved.
Once the source has been selected, the signal is sent to the network via a simple Cat5e or Cat6 cable, over a distance of up to 100 metres. The stream can then be picked up by one or more compatible receivers for broadcast to individual screens or in a larger configuration. This opens the door to scalable installations without complex rewiring.
HDMI signal management supports resolutions up to 4K at 30 Hz, while the VGA input enables older equipment to be covered up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz. Stereo audio input completes the package to ensure consistent playback in AV systems.
In terms of integration, the PoE power supply eliminates the need for a power supply unit, making it easy to install in walls or technical partitions. The device can also be remotely controlled via a network controller or web interface, making it easy to integrate this module into a centralised AV infrastructure.
