Neumann - KK 205 BK
The Neumann KK 205 BK capsule brings the Neumann sound signature to Sennheiser wireless systems. Featuring a supercardioid condenser capsule, it offers great vocal clarity, excellent feedback resistance and very high SPL for high-end live applications.
Presentation
Based on Neumann's award-winning KMS series, the KK 205 BK offers natural vocal reproduction, fast transient response and an open top end. Unlike traditional dynamic capsules, this electrostatic design improves clarity and intelligibility without the need for extensive equalisation.
Optimised for close miking, the capsule incorporates a fixed low-cut filter to compensate for the proximity effect. The hardened steel grille with internal pop filter protects the capsule from moisture and effectively reduces plosives. The KK 205 BK also supports SPL levels of up to 150 dB without saturation.
Compatible with Sennheiser SKM 2000, 6000, 9000, EW G4 300/500 and EW-D/X transmitters, this capsule is a professional solution for concerts, broadcasts and live events.
