Presentation
Although versatile, the TLM 102 excels particularly well at recording sung or spoken vocals. Its slightly steeper response curve above 6 kHz ensures optimum presence of the voice in the mix, while its linear frequency response down to 6 kHz minimises coloration and delivers clearly defined bass. What's more, the capsule is mounted on an elastic suspension that eliminates the transmission of structure-borne noise, and a pop screen built into the grille eliminates plosives when recording in close proximity.
The TLM 102 is available in black and nickel finishes, and is supplied with a microphone stand attachment. Its compact design and excellent value for money make it a wise choice for home recording artists, project studios and broadcast applications where sound performance and visibility are essential.
