Pioneer DJ - Toraiz AS-1

Designed in collaboration with Dave Smith Instruments, the Pioneer Toraiz AS-1 is a monophonic analog synthesizer based on the discrete analog circuitry of the Prophet-6 synthesizer, bringing new creative possibilities to the studio and stage. Intuitive controls include parameter knobs, which allow you to subtly or radically alter the tone of your music to create a personalized sound. In addition, the integrated touchpad keyboard and slider allow you to manipulate the sound on the fly during performances.

The instrument features two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) with continuously variable waveforms, including triangle, saw and pulse waveforms. There are two voltage-controlled filters (VCFs), a 4-pole resonant low-pass filter that can self-oscillate and a 2-pole resonant high-pass filter.

Additionally, there are two ADSR envelope generators, a VCA and an LFO. For effects, the AS-1 inherits the Prophet-6's dual FX engine and includes a bucket-brigade delay, ring modulation, chorus, phaser, and digital distortion. There are 495 preset programs organized into 10 banks, with each program offering its own 64-step sequencer. The Pioneer Toraiz AS-1 comes with an AC adapter and power cord.
