Bass Line TB-303 Software brings a new dimension to the classic instrument. Using analogue circuit behaviour modelling, this virtual TB-303 recaptures the hypnotic sounds of the original instrument and is the perfect complement to the TR-909 and other Roland classical instruments. The now cult interface and signature crunch sounds are perfectly reproduced, with new features that would probably have driven dancers mad back in the day.
The 303's new editing window is one of its greatest strengths. For the first time, you can create and edit basslines from a visual interface. With the ability to view the structure of a preset pattern, you can create a variation or start from scratch and then step-by-step create a new six-octave pattern with user-defined scales, sliding accents, pitch changes and more. The new Randomize/Generate functions can create an infinite number of patterns in addition to those on the original 303.
With its five new playing modes (Forward/Reverse/FWD&REV/Invert/Random), the TB-303 Software Synthesiser expands the scope for experimentation. These new functions allow sonic alchemists to manipulate the bass at will, in all directions.
