The SE Electronics DynaCaster DCM3 is a dynamic, front-address microphone designed for modern vocal applications such as podcasting, streaming and home studio recording. Its cardioid design concentrates the pick-up on the voice while limiting ambient noise, making it easy to use in untreated environments.
The frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz is adapted to the voice, with a balanced reproduction that maintains good intelligibility. The dynamic capsule, combined with a copper coil and neodymium magnet, ensures stable operation over time.
The DCM3 directly incorporates a pop filter and an internal suspension system, to limit plosives and vibrations without the need for external accessories. This integration simplifies installation and frees up space, particularly for video or streaming configurations.
Its front-mount format and swivel bracket enable precise positioning, compatible with different types of microphone arm. The absence of bulky external accessories also makes it easier to fit into compact set-ups.
The microphone operates without an external power supply and is connected via a standard XLR output. It integrates easily into an existing audio chain, whether with an interface, console or preamp.
