Presentation
The SE Electronics DynaCaster DCM6 builds on the DCM3 by adding an integrated active stage. This dynamic, front-address microphone is designed for vocal applications such as podcasting, streaming or recording, with simplified gain management.
The cardioid capsule focuses the pick-up on the voice while limiting ambient noise. The frequency response, from 40 Hz to 18 kHz, is ideal for speech and singing, with balanced reproduction of the different zones of the spectrum.
The special feature of the DCM6 is the integration of DYNAMITE technology, which allows up to +30 dB of gain to be added directly to the microphone. This function is activated via the +48V phantom power supply and allows a higher output level to be obtained without the need for an external line preamp.
The microphone also incorporates a pop filter and an internal capsule suspension system, which limits plosives and handling noise. This design allows the microphone to work without additional accessories, simplifying installation and positioning.
Its front-mount format and swivel bracket make it easy to integrate on different microphone arms. The DCM6 is connected via a standard XLR output and can be easily integrated into an existing audio chain.
