The SE Electronics V7 ENG is a broadcast version of the V7, designed for ENG and video production, with an extended body allowing the addition of a microphone cube while retaining the sound signature of the standard model.

Presentation
The sE Electronics V7 ENG is based on the V7 and adapted to the constraints of broadcast and field production. This version has a longer body, making it easier to add a channel identifier or a microphone cube, while offering a grip that's ideal for interviews and mobile recording.
The dynamic capsule combined with a supercardioid pick-up pattern ensures that the voice is picked up with precision. This behaviour enhances intelligibility, even in noisy environments, by limiting the pick-up of off-axis sounds.
The frequency response of 40 Hz to 19 kHz ensures balanced reproduction, adapted to speech and voice. The midrange remains legible and the treble retains good definition, making it easy to integrate into a broadcast or video recording.
The microphone incorporates an internal capsule suspension that reduces handling noise. This feature is particularly useful in mobile situations, where there is a lot of moving and handling. An internal windscreen and an external windscreen are supplied to limit plosives and wind noise.
The V7 ENG operates without an external power supply and is connected via a standard XLR output. It is suitable for reporting, interviewing, field recording and video podcasting applications.
