SE Electronics - V7 Switch

The sE Electronics V7 Switch uses the same architecture as the V7, but incorporates an on/off switch directly accessible on the microphone. This version is ideal for specific uses such as talkback, rehearsals or certain live configurations where you need to cut the signal quickly without relying on console processing.

The switch is based on a reed element system, enabling activation without mechanical noise. The absence of an audible click avoids any disturbance in the audio signal, which is particularly useful in broadcast or studio environments. Its recessed, lockable design limits inadvertent manipulation.

The dynamic capsule combined with supercardioid polar pattern ensures accurate pick-up of the main source. The off-axis rejection effectively reduces feedback, making it easier to work on stage or in a technical booth.

The frequency response extends from 40 Hz to 19 kHz, with balanced reproduction suitable for both spoken and sung voices. The internal structure of the microphone incorporates a capsule suspension that limits handling noise, while the internal windscreen reduces plosives. An additional windscreen is supplied to adapt the sound reproduction to different uses.

The V7 Switch works without an external power supply and is connected via a standard XLR output. It can be used on vocals, but also on certain nearby instrumental sources when required.
