The Prophet 10 manufactured by Sequential is the resurrection of the Prophet 5. It even includes the 40 original Prophet 5 factory sounds.
With this new Prophet 10, 4th version, you'll find the 'touch' of the original designer, Dave Smith, both in appearance and listening.
The authentic vintage filters are designed by Doug Curtis and Dave Rossum (switchable).
The wood finish (top-quality black walnut core, hand-oiled) is worthy of a collector's item.

It's "the best of all the Prophets", as Dave puts it, because it embodies all three revisions of the legendary Prophet-5 synthesizer - Rev1, Rev2 and Rev3 - thanks to the use of real Curtis VCOs and analogue filters (as in the Rev3) as well as new 2140 low-pass filters designed by Dave Rossum, like the 2040 filters he designed in the original Rev1 and Rev2. A Rev switch lets you choose between the two filter models.
The result is as pure a renewal of an analogue classic as you could wish for, with the authentic, muscular sound of the original and the technical control of a modern, state-of-the-art instrument.
