Yamaha - Montage M7
The Yamaha Montage M7 combines power and creativity in a 76-key Workstation synthesizer that turns every musical idea into sonic reality. Its AN-X engine recreates classic analogue synths with remarkable warmth and expressiveness, while the FM-X engine delivers dynamic, scalable tones ideal for exploring all textures. The enhanced AWM2 adds realism and smooth transitions, bringing ultra-precise pianos, strings and orchestral instruments to life. Thanks to the Motion Control Engine, you can add an interactive dimension to every note, controlling the evolution of sounds and effects in real time. The Montage M7 also features intuitive performance controls, a 76-key FSX keyboard and extensive connectivity that bridges the gap between stage and studio. Every detail is designed to make your playing expressive, fluid and precise, with an ergonomic design and coloured LEDs that make control as visual as it is artistic, offering an instrument that inspires as much as it surprises at every session.
Presentation
The Montage M7's AN-X engine creates extremely detailed analogue sounds, with three oscillators, five waveforms, multiple filters and advanced modulation. The expressive possibilities are further enhanced by the Motion Control Engine, which lets you explore sequences, envelopes and modulations in real time. Combined with the FM-X engine, you can combine analogue warmth and digital complexity to create rich, dynamic textures. Every control, from the Super Knob to the high-resolution faders, acts like an extension of your fingers, making every musical gesture precise and intuitive. The M7 lets you compose, play and sculpt your sounds with almost total freedom.
Yamaha M7's enhanced AWM2 faithfully reproduces pianos, strings and acoustic instruments with 128 elements per part, delivering smooth, detailed sound transitions. VCM Rotary effects and organ sliders reproduce the authenticity of classical instruments, while pure analogue circuitry reduces noise and refines dynamics for more bass and clearer sound. It features coloured LEDs for easy navigation and immediate visual feedback on active performance. Every technical element contributes to an experience where playing remains at the centre and the sounds respond to the slightest intention.
Performance controls on the Yamaha Montage M7 include a five-segment ribbon, dedicated HOLD and Portamento buttons, and Keyboard Hold buttons for holding chords while manipulating other parameters. Intuitive part and scene control lets you manage up to 16 parts per performance, with quick and precise access to every parameter. The whole package lets you mix creativity and precision on stage and in the studio, while maintaining direct contact with the sound, where every gesture really transforms your music.
The Montage M7 integrates easily into your environment thanks to its multi-channel USB audio and MIDI interface, simplifying the recording and control of virtual instruments. Quick navigation via the 7-inch colour TFT screen and touch-sensitive buttons lets you move from one parameter to another without losing the creative flow. The new Category Search and Shift Buttons features optimise the organisation of performances and sounds, making every creation fluid and intuitive, whether you're in the studio or on stage.
