Presentation
Your guitar deserves an acoustic signature that stands out from the crowd, and the Seymour Duncan Joe Bonamassa Bolin Burst Humbucker pickup set is that spark. Imagine the narrative power of a pickup that has digested decades of blues-rock. Joe Bonamassa has injected his vision into these humbuckers to give you an immediate storytelling tool.
Forget compressed, lifeless sounds. The bridge pickup, with its 8.13 kΩ, has a clean attack that bites into the mix without aggression. It's the key to solos that sing with authority and riffs that retain their definition even at high volume. You hear every detail, as if you were mixing your own amp.
In the neck position, the 8.66 kΩ resistor produces an enveloping, almost acoustic warmth. It's the ideal partner for ballads or ripping blues phrases. The Alnico 2 brings a natural smoothness that avoids any harshness, even when you turn up the gain. The transition between the two pickups is a journey from velvet to abrasive silk.
This model doesn't just sound old; they are visually old. Their artificially aged 'Burst' finish brings immediate retro charm and history to your instrument. They sit as if they've always been there.
By choosing this set, you're investing in your tone while helping a good cause. Part of the price goes to the Tommy Bolin Endowment, which helps musicians in difficulty. Switch to material that has a story and will help you write your own.
