The Thorn Soundlabs Silver Spurs Flexible Distortion pedal is a flexible distortion designed for guitarists looking for a modulating, precise sound. Inspired by British amps, it can also generate tones close to those of American amps. The Damping control adjusts the amount of bass entering the circuit, preventing a fuzzy low end. Gain and Headroom adjust the intensity and dynamics of the saturation.
Volume determines the overall output level, while Bass, Mid, Treble and Presence offer full EQ to sculpt your sound. Mid Freq adjusts the midrange centre frequency for additional flexibility. The Noise Gate switch controls the activation of noise suppression, ideal for high-gain settings. The pedal operates in True Bypass mode, preserving the signal when deactivated.
Input and output are on 6.3 mm jacks, compatible with any amplifier or pedal chain. Compact and robust, it slips easily onto a pedalboard. It is powered by 9 to 18 V DC, with no battery option. The Silver Spurs is entirely analogue, delivering a natural, dynamic response with every note.
