The Thorn Steam Flexible pedal is a versatile compressor designed for guitarists who want total control over their dynamics. It includes precise settings such as Threshold to trigger compression and Amount to adjust its intensity.
The Attack and Release controls let you define the reactivity of the compressor according to the guitarist's playing style. The Detail control rebalances the high frequencies lost during compression, while Output recovers the overall level of the signal.
The Auto/Manual switch offers a choice between automatically controlled compression or full manual control. The pedal operates in True Bypass mode, preserving the purity of the signal when deactivated. Input and output are on 6.35 mm jacks, compatible with any amplifier or pedal chain. Compact and robust, it fits easily on a pedalboard. It is powered by 9 V DC and does not support the use of batteries.
