Triton Audio FetHead Broadcast adds +23 dB of clean gain upstream of the audio chain, to strengthen the signal at source and limit interference on long links. Compatible with dynamic and condenser microphones, it provides a more stable and readable signal in real-life conditions.

ARTICLE N° 122009
In a studio environment, distances are often kept under control. In a live or broadcast situation, the reality is different. Cables can run for dozens or even hundreds of metres, crossing areas where power supplies, lighting and RF equipment coexist. In this context, a weak microphone signal becomes more vulnerable to interference.

FetHead Broadcast intervenes precisely at this point. It amplifies the signal directly at the microphone output, before it travels a long distance. This approach significantly increases the signal-to-noise ratio, sending a more robust signal to the console or preamp.

This model also features a low-impedance output buffer. This technical point plays an essential role in extended installations, as it allows the integrity of the signal to be maintained even over long cable runs. In some configurations, this can be up to several hundred metres without any noticeable degradation.

Unlike other more specialised boosters, the FetHead Broadcast accepts both dynamic and condenser microphones. It uses phantom power to operate, while transmitting it to the microphone, making it directly compatible with standard setups used in sound reinforcement or broadcasting.

The whole unit remains true to the philosophy of the range: compact size, use without adjustment and simple integration into any audio system. In a context where signal reliability is paramount, it provides an effective point of security from the moment the signal is picked up.
