Designed around the sounds of the Ensoniq ESQ-1, the USQ-1 virtual instrument (downloadable licence) from UVI brings together a collection of sounds with that vintage digital flavour of the 1980s. The library features 400 presets and 22,768 samples, including bells, strings, leads, basses, pads and atmospheres.
Each preset can be edited, whilst the two-layer architecture allows you to combine two customisable oscillators with selectable waveforms, ADSR envelopes, a multimode filter, pitch, portamento, LFO and arpeggiator.
To take your creativity further, the USQ-1 features an effects bus with a 3-band equaliser, drive, chorus, phaser, delay and reverb. The sounds were designed using the original hardware and then recorded in the UVI studio. You can therefore start with the included presets or create your own patches to tailor the sound palette to your productions.
The package offers a direct approach to shaping and interpreting sounds in your projects.
