Sensor system A.R.T. (Acoustic Resonance Transducer)
Yamaha acoustic electric guitars have always used transducers exhibiting piezoelectric properties to best reproduce the sound of these instruments. The disadvantage of this type of system was linked to the fact that the piezoelectric microphones reacted badly to attacks that can generate saturation and signal deterioration. To get the best possible return we had to improve this principle capture by offering new sensors.
The sensors A.R.T. based on the superposition of six layers of different materials.
Thanks to the vibration damping table and capture the resonance of the drum, the guitar delivers balanced sound and an even wider dynamic range.
