Yamaha's TRB 1004J Black is a 4-string bass inspired by the design of the 1980s. Its alder body with maple top, five-piece maple/mahogany screw neck and rosewood fingerboard ensure stable playability. Yamaha Humcanceled Single Coil double-coil pickups with Alnico V magnets deliver warm, accurate sound. Active electronics with 3-band equaliser allow you to fine-tune frequencies to suit your playing style.

Its alder body with maple top and 5-piece screwed maple and mahogany neck ensure stability, sustain and balance, even on stage. The rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and oval mother-of-pearl markings provides comfort and precision. The two Hum-canceled Single Coil Alnico V pickups deliver a clear, punchy, breathless sound that cuts through the low frequencies with astonishing articulation.
The active 3-band preamp (bass, midrange, treble) lets you sculpt the sound on the fly via volume, balance and overall tone, perfect for alternating between funk grooves, round lines and slap playing. Its Yamaha brass bridge with 5 saddles and chrome die-cast tuning machines guarantee stability, sustain and secure settings.
