B&C Speakers - DE502 8 Ohm Driver

The B&C Speakers DE502 8 Ohm Driver is a compression driver designed for professional systems requiring powerful, accurate high frequencies. The successor to the acclaimed DE500, it incorporates a redesigned titanium diaphragm that improves mechanical stability and reduces distortion. The result is a cleaner, more consistent sound, particularly appreciated in live environments where every detail needs to be conveyed with precision.

With a sensitivity of 107 dB and a power handling capacity of 50 W AES (100 W programme), this motor delivers effective sound while remaining energy-efficient. Its frequency response extends from 1 kHz to 18 kHz, amply covering the needs of two-way speakers or broadcast systems requiring high-end reproduction of high frequencies. Its high efficiency ensures clear results even at high volumes.

The 44 mm aluminium voice coil mounted on a lightweight support ensures speed and responsiveness, essential qualities for reproducing vocals and instruments with great precision. Coupled with the titanium diaphragm, it offers brilliant reproduction without aggressiveness, a balance sought after by sound engineers working over long listening sessions.
