Today BOSS proudly presents the latest version of its Twin Pedal series, the processor rotary effect RT-20. Operator COSM® modeling technology, the RT-20 reproduces classic rotary-speaker sounds of extraordinary authenticity. It offers adjustable effects such as rise time, the rate of acute and serious overdrive etc. Not content with the traditional rotation, the RT-20 can also create overdrive and pulsating effects none. This processor has an amazing, and offers a stunning graphical view of the virtual rotors on its display.
COSM
Years of intensive research and development have made Roland and BOSS world leaders in modeling technology. Roland COSM (Composite Object Sound Modeling) takes advantage of many methods of modeling and manages to emulate with a high accuracy of existing sounds and creating an absolutely new sounds. With the RT-20, COSM technology simulates the particular characteristics of classic rotary speaker. The treble and bass speakers can be set independently while the exclusive graphical display shows the RT-20 in real time pattern and speed.
Connectivity
You can connect guitars and keyboards at the RT-20; use the Drive Type switch to optimize the effects for guitar or keyboard. Surround your listeners in animated sound with dual outputs of the RT-20 offers true stereo effects. Add some color with an expression pedal (such as the new BOSS FV-500H / FV-500L, optional), which lets you control continuously and in real time parameters such as rotation speed. The headphone jack of the RT-20 is convenient to practice quietly.
Displaying virtual rotors
With its incredible display, the RT-20 is probably the most amazing processor BOSS. Rotating lights not only look cool, they also show the audio rotation characteristics of RT-20 in real time. The center of the display, illuminated in red, represents the virtual pavilion. The outside ring, illuminated in blue, displays the rotation of the virtual bass speaker. It is as beautiful as practical!
