Presentation
Designed for Tune-O-Matic guitars, this duo of EMG 57/66 Black Chrome pickups combines precision and balance. The bridge pickup (57) concentrates the dynamics, with a resonance frequency of 2.11 kHz. The neck pickup (66) has a rounder response, at 1.61 kHz.
Their active structure, coupled with Alnico V magnets, ensures a constant output voltage, whether in frank attack or more restrained playing. The unit operates at up to 27V DC, with minimal power consumption and a battery life in excess of 600 hours on a 9V battery.
The Solderless system makes for easy installation, with no soldering or grounding wires. The cables supplied cover all the necessary connections, with 25k potentiometers adapted to the active circuit.
The chic, sober and resistant cover discreetly houses the gold logo of the MetalWorks series. This set is also compatible with EMG modules such as the SPC or EXG, so you can shape the timbre your own way.
