Designed for modern guitars, this duo of EMG 57/66 TW Axe Long Black pickups adapts to all registers. Built-in push-pull to switch between two distinct grains. Alnico or ceramic magnets, depending on position! The set includes everything you need to install it without a soldering iron.

The EMG 57/66 TW Axe Long Black pickup set offers two voices per pickup. One is a clear, single-coil mode, the other more massive. Changeover is by push-pull, without the need for an additional switch. The bridge pickup uses alnico and steel magnets. Its sound is dry, precise and sharp.
As for the neck, the 66TW combines alnico and ceramic. The result is fluid, with no excess or loss of definition. The EMG hybrid design works in three coils. Every detail of the timbre is under control, with no hiss or burrs.
This model is designed for guitars with a Floyd-type bridge (52 mm spacing). The long potentiometer (19 mm) is designed for thick-top models like the Les Paul. All cables are supplied, with solderless connections.
One 9V battery is enough to power the whole thing for over 1,500 hours. The signal remains powerful, even during intense rhythm playing. This duo can be used with all EMG configurations, solo or as a complement.
