Presentation
The EMG 57/66 TW Black Chrome is a duo designed to push back the boundaries of a simple set of microphones. It doesn't just reproduce two sound signatures: it merges them into an ultra-polyvalent solution. Each pick-up has a single-coil mode and a humbucker mode.
An integrated push-pull switch lets you switch from one to the other effortlessly. The 57TW roars in the bridge position, with a clean attack and responsive grain. The 66TW delivers a more nuanced sound, ideal for sculpting clean or crunchy tones.
The internal three-coil construction increases harmonic richness tenfold, while reducing background noise. The set can be installed in a matter of minutes, thanks to the ready-to-use cables and solderless assembly.
Designed for Tune-O-Matic guitars, this kit gives you total control over the signal. A real plus for modern set-ups, creative studios and demanding stages!

To find out more...
Activate the push-pull for a bold swell. The EMG 57/66 TW Black Chrome sounds almost acoustic and buoyant.
On a looper, the single mode weaves an airy base. Then the humbucker emerges with a sharp edge, sculpting the layers. This contrast gives relief without saturating the space.
In palm mute, the 57TW bites harder. The harmonics growl, the attack becomes muscular. Every note strikes with intensity and without a hint of blur.
One push and everything changes: texture, density, energy. It's that kind of switch that redefines a live performance.
