The EMG 57/66 TW Black pickup set combines two worlds in one. Thanks to the integrated push/pull switches, each pickup with hybrid magnets switches from humbucker to single coil. In dual, the signal remains dense. With single coils, the attack becomes clearer. With solderless assembly, long battery life and a black cover, everything has been designed for professional use.

The EMG 57/66 TW Black pickup duo takes a hybrid approach. Each pickup operates in triple-coil mode, with a push/pull selector built into the volume control. This system allows you to alternate between a fuller sound (humbucker) and a more incisive signal (single coil).
The 57TW in the bridge gives body in double mode, and marked brilliance in single. The 66TW in the neck is rounder and gains in definition when split. The whole set-up is based on ceramic/Alnico magnets in crossed configurations.
Solderless cabling simplifies connections. All components are supplied: cables, potentiometers, stereo jack and power nozzles. The whole unit remains silent, even with a 4.5 V output under heavy attack.
With its 9V power supply, this set lasts for over 1,500 hours. It supports up to 27V, for those who want to boost their headroom. With its standard 49 mm size, 69.8 mm screw spacing and black finish from the MetalWorks series, this model is as good as it gets.
