Designed for Jazzmaster-style guitars, this white 13-hole pickguard is equipped with two EMG JMaster active pickups that are both silent and expressive. Inspired by legendary pickups, they feature Alnico V magnets and large stacked coils, producing a rich, balanced sound with no background noise.
The pickguard puts you in control with intuitive controls: master volume, master tone, 3-position selector switch, and two built-in sound processing modules.
The first, the SPC, boosts the midrange to give your sound more presence, or can be used to increase the overall volume evenly. The second, the EXG Expander, boosts the bass and treble at the same time, giving a wider, deeper, clearer sound.
The unit is powered by a 9V battery, integrated in a compartment provided for this purpose, and provides around 400 hours of autonomy.

This model is available in a range of colours, so there's something for everyone. But be careful! Before ordering the JMaster pickguard, check that it's compatible with your guitar. This is to avoid messing up the pickguard or the top horn settings, you see. If your guitar still can't accommodate the pickguard, EMG has thought of everything: there's a set of JMaster pickups available on their own. That way, you can fit them without touching your current pickguard.
