Designed to the highest standards by Jim Root, this EMG Daemonum Floyd Zebra set is a refined version of the EMG 81/60 pair he used for many years.
You'll find a powerful bridge pickup with ceramic magnet and black steel pads, capable of delivering clean attacks and a sharp response, even at very high gain. Opposite, the neck pickup, also with dual coils, rests on ceramic pads that deliver fearsome clarity in the treble.
Together, they form a well-balanced duo, ideally suited to massive rhythms as well as chiselled leads. Thanks to the exclusive Retro Active preamp, both pickups deliver high levels of output while retaining their dynamic range.
Solderless assembly makes installation quick and easy, even for guitarists who've never opened a bonnet before. Everything you need, from connectors to screws and bolts, is included so you can get started straight away. With a 19 mm long axle, this set is perfect for guitars with thick tops or special pickguards.
It requires no string grounding, which eliminates common parasites. By adopting this set, you're taking a new approach to the metal sound, one that's more direct and more versatile.
