EMG - Jim Root Daemonum axe long Set Zebra

The EMG Jim Root Daemonum set was developed after several years of testing and prototyping by the Slipknot guitarist himself. It consists of a bridge pickup and a neck pickup, both in open double-coil format. The idea here is not to copy a previous model, but to create a signature sound in its own right.

The ceramic neck pickup provides very clear definition in the midrange and natural brilliance in the treble. On the other hand, the bridge pickup is tighter, with tight bass and a formidable attack. Together, they cover a wide range, from heavy rhythm to precise arpeggios.

The internal preamps are based on the Retro Active series but adapted to Jim Root's needs. They retain the clarity of the Active series while preserving a certain naturalness in the sound. The output is powerful, but the whole remains legible, even in very saturated configurations.

The solderless cabling makes for easy installation without the need for extensive technical intervention. The absence of the need for earthing further simplifies installation.

This set works just as well on stage as in the studio, with excellent resistance to background noise. The technical data confirms this rigour: low output impedance, controlled noise, high compatibility. This is a stable, homogeneous set designed for intense playing conditions.
