The EMG JMaster kit easily replaces the pickguard on your Jazzmaster with a complete active system. It includes two stacked coils that deliver clear sound with no background noise. The SPC and EXG settings provide more flexibility for adjusting mids, lows and highs. The set includes ready-to-plug, solderless EMG cabling. It incorporates the main volume and tone controls. It installs directly onto your guitar, without touching its structure.

Discover the EMG JMaster, a pre-wired pickguard specially designed for Jazzmaster guitars. It features two stacked, single-coil active pickups with Alnico V magnets that produce a clear, warm and balanced sound, while eliminating the hum typical of conventional single-coil pickups.
This complete system stands out for its ease of installation: it replaces the original pickguard without the need for soldering or modifications to the instrument. The cabling is already integrated, with potentiometers, pickup selector and 9V battery compartment, for an autonomy of several months. The pickguard is made of several layers of material to reduce noise and improve sound clarity.
The JMaster has two essential active controls: the SPC, which provides a powerful midrange boost or a flat boost of up to +12 dB to boost overall volume, and the EXG, which broadens the sound palette by boosting bass and treble simultaneously.
These features make it possible to adapt the sound to different styles, from vintage surf rock to modern alternative rock, with a smooth, dynamic tone.
For this model, the ivory-coloured pickups go well with the tortoiseshell pickguard.
