EMG pushes the boundaries with the JR 'Daemonum' Black pickup set, designed alongside Jim Root. Their signature sound starts with the magnets: pure ceramic for the neck, combined with percussive poles designed for clean attacks. On the bridge, the combination of ceramic and steel produces a dense, clean-cut signal.
Each pickup features a unique active preamp, powered by a low-power system offering up to 600 hours of autonomy. The 27V voltage can handle extreme dynamics without alteration. With 8.00V strumming and a 3 kΩ impedance, the sound retains a natural authority, without compression or blurring. The ultra-low background noise guarantees faithful reproduction, even in the studio.
Solderless cabling ensures frictionless integration. Blade switch, toggle or EMG: everything connects effortlessly. This set fits both Tune-O-Matic and Floyd Rose guitars. Quite simply, it's a system designed for those who demand immediate response and uncompromising clarity at every frequency.
