The Jim Root Daemonum EMG pickup is more than just a humbucker: it's a direct extension of its creator's sound. If you're familiar with Jim Root's heavy, precise style, you'll know that he doesn't tolerate approximation.
This signature model takes the sound base of the EMG 81/60, but injects it with the flexibility of the Retro Active series. The result? A set capable of growling like a tube amp pushed to its limits, but with impeccable clarity.
The neck pickup, with its ceramic pads, delivers crystal-clear, defined leads, even through several layers of gain. In the bridge position, the steel pads and ceramic magnet provide good sustain and a lively attack.
The integrated active system doesn't smooth transients: it enhances them. Inside the cabinet, you'll find everything you need for a clean, solderless installation. Even the cables are sized to fit all guitar configurations. So you've got a set that's ready to play!
