Introducing the EMG LF-DMF pickup set, designed by Lars Frederiksen for those who refuse to be fussy. Here EMG delivers two passive humbuckers designed for scenes where aggression is an art. With a black chrome finish, meticulous screws and stainless steel bonnets, style is not optional.
The neck pickup, sculpted around an Alnico 5 magnet, delivers a warm, precise tone, ideal for melodic leads or darker rhythms. Its bridge counterpart uses a ceramic magnet for a fast, dry attack and tight saturation. Together, they cover a wide spectrum, always without background noise, even at extreme saturation.
For 2-pickup (HH) guitars, these devices feature custom windings and adjustable pads to fine-tune your attack string by string. Thanks to the EMG solderless system and quick-connect bus, installation is seamless - unless you have a long jack, in which case soldering may be required.
In terms of compatibility, they integrate well with your existing passive EMG circuit, while accepting in-house active modules (SPC, EXG, VLPF). The whole package comes with full wiring, two volumes, two tones, a toggle, and a well thought-out set of accessories.
