ESI Audiotechnik - MAYA22 USB

The ESI Audiotechnik MAYA22 USB has been designed as a versatile audio interface, capable of adapting to both a fixed work environment and a mobile configuration. Its compact casing and full USB bus power supply mean it can be used without constraint, whether on a desk, in a bag or on the move. Despite its small size, it offers a complete architecture for recording and listening, with a clear focus on efficiency.

The interface provides two analogue inputs and two analogue outputs, enabling simultaneous recording of a microphone and an instrument. The microphone input on an XLR connector incorporates +48 V phantom power, enabling condenser microphones to be used, while the dedicated Hi-Z input can be used directly for a guitar or bass. A line input on RCA connectors completes the set for integrating additional sources. This configuration makes it easy to handle vocal, instrument or line inputs without the need for additional equipment.

On the listening side, the MAYA22 USB has line outputs on balanced TRS connectors for connection to monitoring speakers, as well as an independent headphone output. Direct monitoring lets you follow takes in real time, with controlled latency, both during recording and mixing. The converters offer a comfortable dynamic range, ensuring clear, detailed reproduction, suitable for music production, podcasting or audio streaming.

Software compatibility is one of the strong points of this interface. On Windows, professional drivers provide support for ASIO 2.0, WDM and DirectSound protocols, with support for internal routing functions via DirectWIRE. On macOS, the MAYA22 USB works in native CoreAudio without driver installation, so you can get started straight away. This makes it easy to integrate with most audio production and broadcast software.

To accompany the interface, ESI provides recording and authoring software, so you can start working straight out of the box, on both PC and tablet.
