Long description
The Jet Guitars JS-300 Gold doesn’t seek to go unnoticed. Gold is not a neutral colour — it’s a statement of intent, a declaration made even before you plug it in. The Vintage White pickguard against this warm lacquer creates a contrast that makes the guitar stand out the moment it’s taken out of its case, whilst the chrome hardware rounds off the design with a cool metallic finish that balances the whole look.
Within this visual framework, the woodwork follows a logic of temperature — in the literal sense of the word. The torrefied poplar of the body (top, back and sides) has undergone a controlled heating cycle that deeply reorganises its fibres and reduces its sensitivity to changes in humidity: the result is wood that vibrates more consistently, session after session. The Modern C-profile neck, crafted from torrefied Canadian maple, extends this stability right to the fingertips, on a torrefied maple fingerboard with a radius of 241.3 mm — neither too flat for rhythm playing nor too arched for high-position bends.
The 22 frets, 41.9 mm nut width and bone/polymer nut (since 2025) define a playing geometry that leaves nothing to chance. The SSS ceramic pickup configuration, with its 1 volume, 2 tone controls and 5-position switch, reproduces the Stratocaster’s signature tone across the entire range, whilst the tremolo-style vibrato bridge and double-action truss rod keep the instrument in line — across the 647.7 mm scale length that gives the notes their characteristic bite.
