The Jet JS-300 Mini Red makes an entrance even before you’ve plugged it in. The red finish on an Aged White pickguard is a combination steeped in history — that of the workhorses we’d pull out for rock sessions, not for display. But this Mini isn’t just about looks: the body, crafted from torrefied poplar that’s consistent from top to back, is made from wood that’s been heat-treated to tighten the fibres and harden the transient response. Strum a string, and the note comes through without hesitation.
The 578 mm scale length redistributes the forces across the fingerboard: less tension, shorter intervals between the frets, and a geometry that truly changes the feel of the neck for those with smaller hands or playing styles that involve heavy vibrato. The Modern C profile in roasted Canadian maple feels neutral under the palm — neither too thin to lack substance, nor too thick to get in the way of the thumb. The roasted maple fingerboard, with a radius of 241.3 mm, features a slight crown that ensures stable barre chords and gives a secure grip when soloing across all 20 frets.
The SSS configuration with three ceramic pickups and a 5-way selector switch gives you access to the full Stratocaster palette: the middle positions for funk and blues, the bridge for rock bite, and the neck for smooth lines. The 41.9 mm nut width, double-action truss rod and fixed bridge round off a flawless build. The chrome-plated tuning machines and hardware do the rest.
