Within the Performer range, the MS-14M Pre RN features a compact body and a nut width of 48 mm. The glued mahogany neck and 650 mm scale length also contribute to the instrument’s overall character.

This configuration differs from the dimensions commonly found on many classical guitars by offering a hybrid design that will delight those accustomed to folk and/or electric guitars.

The construction combines a solid spruce top with a laminated mahogany back and sides. The fingerboard and bridge are made of rosewood, complemented by 22 frets and standard tuning machines. The whole forms a coherent design in which the materials play a significant role in the instrument’s characteristics.

The cutaway facilitates access to the higher frets on the neck without altering the guitar’s distinctive visual identity. The instrument comes fitted with Savarez 500CJ/V strings as standard, and the included gig bag makes transport and storage easier. The natural gloss finish showcases the woods used without resorting to particularly striking visual effects.

The electronic system combines a piezo pickup, a condenser microphone and a Fishman Presys Blend preamp. This system allows the two pickup sources to be blended according to the selected settings.
