The Motu M6 and Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO pack brings together a top-of-the-range audio interface and quality studio headphones. The Motu M6 has 6 inputs and 4 outputs, with ultra-precise mic preamps and 32-bit conversion for crystal-clear sound. On the monitoring side, the M6 lets you switch between 2 pairs of speakers and manages 2 headphones simultaneously with independent settings. The DT 990 PRO, in open-back, delivers crystal-clear sound and provides long-lasting comfort thanks to its velvet cushions.

The M6 interface has 6 inputs and 4 outputs for recording several sources simultaneously. The 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs accept microphones, instruments and line signals, each with a dedicated preamp and 48 V phantom power. There are also 2 additional line inputs.
Audio conversion uses ESS Sabre32 Ultra technology, for extended dynamics and faithful reproduction. The colour LCD screen lets you control input and output levels with precision. The Monitor button and direct monitoring ensure feedback with no perceptible latency. The A/B switch lets you quickly compare 2 pairs of studio monitors.
The 4 balanced TRS and mirrored RCA outputs make the equipment flexible for listening and routing. The M6 also has two independent headphone outputs, each driven by an ESS converter.
And with its 250 Ohm, the DT 990 PRO open headphones take full advantage of the M6's amplification. What's more, its velvet earpads ensure optimum comfort during long sessions.

The Motu M6 can be used as a stand-alone preamp and basic mixer, without the need for a host computer. Simply engage the monitoring switch for all six inputs (and 48V phantom power, if required) and adjust the preamp gain as required. Connect the main outputs to any line-level destination, such as a PA or patch bay.
