Motu - Pack M6 + Micro MV7X
If you're looking for a great setup for your home studio, this Motu M6 + Shure MV7X pack is ideal! The interface has 6 inputs, super-quiet preamps and virtually no latency. The MV7X is a superbly designed dynamic microphone that picks up voices naturally, even in an untreated room. And the little extra? You've got Ableton Live Lite and free samples to get you started straight away!
Presentation
The Motu M6 has 4 XLR/Jack combo inputs, each with independent gain and 48 V phantom power, plus two balanced Jack line inputs. Its 32-bit/192 kHz conversion uses an ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC for consistently clear sound. The colour LCD screen displays levels in real time.
Latency is very low, making direct monitoring easy. The Monitor mixer lets you mix direct and DAW sound. There's also an A/B switch for comparing two speaker systems.
Balanced TRS jack and unbalanced RCA outputs offer a wide range of connections. Two independent headphone outputs make it easy to control volume. The interface is MIDI-compatible and offers a practical loopback function for streaming.
The Shure MV7X dynamic cardioid microphone features Voice Isolation to reduce unwanted noise. Its frequency response of 50 Hz to 16 kHz faithfully reproduces the voice. Lightweight, it connects via XLR without a preamp.
