In environments where several machines need to be remotely supervised, the issue is not just transporting the image, but also maintaining fluid interaction with the workstations. The MuxLab 500800 RX meets precisely this challenge by combining high-definition video playback and management of USB peripherals over a standard Ethernet network.

This receiver is part of a KVM over IP architecture where the sources are remote. Once connected to a screen, it enables access to a remote computer as if it were local, by directly connecting keyboard, mouse or other peripherals via its integrated USB hub. This is particularly relevant in control rooms, IT environments or production facilities where physical access to machines is limited.

HDMI signal support up to 4K at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 ensures faithful reproduction, suitable for both computer interfaces and detailed visual content. HDR support completes the package for improved readability in situations where contrast plays an important role.

In terms of infrastructure, the 500800 RX operates on IP networks with flexible topologies. It can be used in a simple point-to-point configuration, but also in more complex multipoint systems, where several transmitters and receivers coexist. This flexibility makes it possible to build scalable architectures, including video walls capable of displaying synchronised content on multiple screens.

The transmission distance is up to 100 metres via Cat5e or Cat6 cable, which meets the majority of installation requirements. PoE simplifies integration by reducing the number of cables required, which is important in racks or structured environments.
