Streaming equipment

The MuxLab 500800 TX sends an HDMI and USB signal from a computer to an IP network for remote control. It enables machines to be centralised while retaining full user interaction. Ideal for technical installations, it makes it easy to manage several workstations from one or more control points.

ARTICLE N° 122199
The MuxLab 500800 TX is designed to capture these signals directly from the source, typically a server or workstation, and then distribute them over a standard Ethernet network to one or more receivers.

The principle is simple: the computer is connected via HDMI and USB to the transmitter, which then transmits all the information over the network. This approach means that the machines can be physically moved out of the operating areas while retaining full remote access, without compromising on image quality or control responsiveness.

Video management supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz in 4:4:4, guaranteeing accurate reproduction, particularly for detailed graphical interfaces or applications requiring a high degree of display finesse. HDR support completes the picture by improving the perception of contrast and colour in suitable environments.

On the network side, the 500800 TX can be integrated into a variety of configurations. It can operate in point-to-point mode for a direct link, or in multipoint systems where several transmitters and receivers coexist. This flexibility means you can build scalable infrastructures, ranging from a single remote station to centralised management of several servers, or even the creation of video walls spread over many screens.

Transmission can be up to 100 metres via Cat5e or Cat6 cable, covering the majority of installations in businesses or technical environments. The PoE power supply simplifies deployment by limiting the amount of cabling required, which is particularly useful in network racks or structured installations.

The transmitter also supports audio as well as USB peripheral functions, including webcam support, extending the possibilities for use in collaborative or advanced supervision environments.
