Neumann - KK 204 BK
The Neumann KK 204 BK capsule is an electrostatic cardioid head designed for Sennheiser-compatible wireless handheld transmitters. It offers natural vocal pick-up, a wider pick-up zone and excellent intelligibility for singing and speaking in live situations.
Presentation
Its cardioid pick-up pattern is wider and more forgiving than a supercardioid capsule. This makes it easier to use for mobile singers, presenters or applications where the distance to the microphone varies. It also guarantees a natural, homogenous sound reproduction.
The capsule incorporates a robust metal grille with a multi-layer internal pop filter. This design reduces plosives, limits air noise and protects the capsule from moisture during intensive live use. A fixed low-cut filter stabilises bass in close miking.
Thanks to its condenser technology, the KK 204 BK delivers excellent high-frequency definition, accurate midrange and fast transient response. It is a versatile solution for concerts, conferences, corporate events and broadcasting.
