The sE Electronics V7 Nickel takes the technical base of the V7 and offers a nickel finish that provides an aesthetic alternative to coloured versions. This version can be easily integrated into stage or broadcast environments where a more neutral or traditional appearance is desired.
The dynamic capsule combined with a supercardioid directional pattern allows the main source to be precisely targeted. This behaviour is particularly useful on stage, where feedback management and source separation play an important role in the overall quality of the mix.
The frequency response curve is adapted to the voice, with a clear reproduction of the midrange and a controlled presence in the treble. This signature maintains good intelligibility, without excessive emphasis or marked coloration.
The capsule's internal suspension system limits the mechanical noise associated with microphone handling. The internal windscreen effectively reduces plosives, and an alternative version is supplied to suit different listening preferences.
The V7 Nickel can also be used with nearby instrument sources such as guitar amplifiers or certain percussion instruments. It operates without an external power supply and integrates easily into any audio system via a standard XLR connection.
