Presentation
The sE Electronics V7 Vintage Edition takes the architecture of the V7 and offers a finish inspired by classic microphones. This version stands out visually while retaining the audio performance of the original model, making it ideal for use in stage set-ups where the visual aspect of the equipment is important.
The dynamic capsule combined with a supercardioid directional characteristic enables the voice to be picked up in a targeted way. This directional pattern limits the pick-up of surrounding sources and makes it easier to use on stage, particularly in the presence of monitors.
The frequency response, from 40 Hz to 19 kHz, is balanced and suitable for both spoken and sung voices. The midrange remains legible and the high frequencies retain good definition, ensuring constant intelligibility in a variety of contexts.
The microphone incorporates an internal capsule suspension, reducing handling noise. The internal windscreen limits plosives and can be replaced according to preference. The aluminium coil and neodymium magnet contribute to signal stability.
The V7 Vintage Edition works without an external power supply and is connected via a standard XLR output. It can be used for vocals, but also for certain nearby instrumental sources as required.
