The UVI Mello is a digital reinterpretation of the Mellotron, an emblematic instrument of the 1960s, famous for its magnetic tapes and unique sounds.
Used by legends such as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the Mellotron revolutionised recording by offering a variety of timbres and true polyphony.
The Mello captures this vintage essence with a library of faithful samples from three original machines.
Key noise, mechanical sounds and magnetic tape are finely rendered for an authentic playing experience.
UVI Mello incorporates modern tools such as a modelled analogue tape delay, reverb, multimode filter and 3-band EQ.
