Warm Audio's WA-84 is no exception, this time inspired by the Neumann KM-84s that have long been available only on the second-hand market.

For economic reasons, most manufacturers of small-diaphragm microphones have stopped using transformers. Warm Audio is not following this trend and is opting for the classic method: the WA-84 incorporates a CineMag USA nickel transformer, which provides unique warmth and allows sound sources to be broadened, and Fairchild transistors, a brand renowned in the world of pro audio, all with a completely discrete signal path.

In conclusion, the Warm Audio WA-84 is not just a copy for studios, home studios, live performance or broadcast. The WA-84 is the ideal microphone for magnificently reproducing a wide variety of instruments such as guitars and basses, drums, pianos, strings and brass.
