The Ashdown Capri-23 Shell Pink is a mini 4-string electric bass designed to offer maximum pleasure in a compact format. With its short 23-inch (596 mm) scale, it's easy to hold and comfortable to play, making it ideal for young bassists or long, relaxed sessions.
Its 40mm-thick poplar body is lightweight and resonant. The screw-on neck in roasted maple provides stability and smoothness. The torrefied maple fingerboard, which matches the headstock, adds to its modern, polished look. The C-profile and 350 mm radius provide a fluid feel across all 20 frets.
Stainless steel frets ensure durability and precision over time. The PP Alnico pickup delivers a warm, clear and balanced sound, capable of covering a wide range of musical styles. Simple passive electronics with volume and tone controls make for intuitive, efficient use. The mini-bass bridge with copper bridges ensures stability and optimum vibration transmission.
