The DPA d: 4015A is a broad cardioid directional microphone capable of handling extremely high sound pressure levels before clipping. This is the ideal compromise between a conventional cardioid microphone and an omnidirectional sensor. It allows to encompass a wide sound field with more precision. This wide cardioid microphone is a reference. At the same time discreet and precise, it allows a zone of taken of its extent in order to obtain a very natural restitution.
