The EMG 57/66 TW Axe Long Chrome pickup set features two dual-mode active pickups. The 57TW bridge pickup combines Alnico and steel. The 66TW neck combines Alnico and ceramic. The integrated push-pull switches between single and double windings. Assembly is seamless, and the long axle is compatible with Les Paul guitars.

The 57/66 TW Axe Long Chrome pickups take the idea of the active pickup one step further. Each model has a precise single-coil mode and a more muscular double-coil mode. Switching is a breeze, thanks to the push-pulls supplied.
On the bridge side, the 57TW combines steel and Alnico. Its grain cuts through the mix, while retaining a round attack. The 66TW, on the neck, uses a combination of Alnico and ceramic. It delivers a broad, full and responsive signal.
All the wiring is included. No need for a soldering iron, everything goes through connectors. The stereo jack, 25K pots and bus system make installation easy. The microphone remains compatible with all EMG active references.
This set is designed for guitars with screwed or glued necks, with a bridge spaced at 52 mm. The 19 mm axis corresponds to models with a domed top. The 9V battery lasts for months. The tone remains clean, even at high levels.
