Presentation
This set of EMG 57/66 TW Floyd pickups doesn't choose between finesse and power. It reacts instantly. Want a slamming riff? Activate the simple coil. Need to roar? Switch to double and it's ready to go.
The 57TW, on the bridge side, hits the output hard. The alnico and steel work hand in hand to produce a taut, dense and precise signal. The 66TW softens the sound with more depth. The balance between ceramic and alnico adds depth to every note.
Designed with Floyd Rose vibratos in mind, the 52 mm format fits precisely. There's no fiddly wiring: everything's ready to go, no soldering iron required. Even the push-pulls are included, already calibrated for active pickups.
With three coils per mic, the grain remains clean, even at full volume. There's no hiss, even at full gain. And with 1500 hours of autonomy, you'll have time to burn a lot of tubes before changing the battery.

The mode switch on the EMG 57/66 TW Floyd Black Chrome set invites you to explore dynamic, contrasting phrasing.
Switching from humbucker to simple coil allows you to play between softness and clean attack. This system encourages you to vary your touch, from light to energetic.
The winding modes are not a simple nuance, but a real change of character. The difference between the sounds is immediately apparent.
You can use both modes to simulate two live guitar tracks. This versatility expands the palette without unnecessary complexity.
