Presentation
The EMG KH20 system is designed for Stratocaster guitars and bears the signature of Kirk Hammett, the famous guitarist from Metallica.
This pre-wired pickguard incorporates three active pickups: an EMG 81 in the bridge, renowned for its powerful sound and precision, and two single-coil EMG Ss in the middle and neck.
This configuration produces a wide range of sounds, from clear, crystalline tones to deep, punchy distortion, suitable for a variety of styles, particularly metal and hard rock.
The active technology embedded in these pickups delivers high output levels, excellent sustain and a significant reduction in background noise. The tone control, meanwhile, is passive, ensuring simple, intuitive operation without compromising sound quality.
The kit includes a white pearl pickguard, ready for installation on an 11-hole Stratocaster, and an EMG 12B stereo jack. The pickguard is powered by a 9V battery (not supplied), making installation quick and easy, with no soldering required.
It's aimed at guitarists who want to improve the sound of their instrument with a complete solution from a renowned artist!
